We pride ourselves in having quirky and super clean composting toilets and for 2021 we have one private toilet per pitch. The toilets are located on your pitch with trees and shrubs surrounding them. Composting toilets are really easy to use and do not smell if used correctly. You will receive information on how to use them on arrival.

We have two hot showers on site complete with a changing area. Our showers are LPG GAS run to remain as eco as possible. They can sometimes be affected by weather but on the whole are excellent and super hot. The shower room roof is transparent letting in natural light and sunshine making for a great shower under the blue sky.

Washing up

The washing up area is covered and has a large sink for washing items and is located at the shower area. Please note that it only has a cold tap.

We have provided bins for recycling and ask that you use them accordingly. We actively encourage being plastic free and ask that you shop local at the butchers and greengrocers to avoid unnecessary plastic wrapping.

Your pitch

Each pitch has its own firepit, bbq grill for the firepit and a picnic bench. We have phone charging points and depending on covid regulations at the time of your stay we also have a fridge and a freezer.

Your Booking / Pitch info

Camping pitches are spacious and spread along the edge of the 9 acre meadow overlooking the surrounding farmland. They are mowed into the long meadow grass and surrounded by wildflowers which change throughout the season. Each pitch has a view of the sunset and we get some spectacular sunsets over the lavender farm.

Each pitch can accommodate one unit / family size tent. It is possible to add additional units / tents by booking another pitch. Some pitches are next door to each other so would be suitable for small groups. The lower field has its own entrance and is perfect for a small group. If you wish to book the lower field you will need to book Lavender, Deer Leap and Barn Owl pitches to have this area exclusively. It is possible to add a 4th pitch in the lower field by booking any other available pitches and then letting us know via email so that you can be located in the lower field.

We are not suitable for caravans but we do have a few pitches that are easily accessible for a campervan the size of a VW camper or similar depending on the weather and the time of year. Contact us for further info.

We are a small site and therefore do not allow dogs.

We are a quiet, small and friendly site and for the enjoyment of others we do not accept groups of more than 4 units / tents. We do not accept hen or stag doos or parties under 18 without accompanying adults. Any Covid restrictions in force at the time of your stay will need to be adhered to.
