CORONAVIRUS MEASURES

We have worked hard on implementing various measures to make sure that you have a safe and enjoyable holiday here at Finchingfield Camping. We review and update our processes as and when government guidance changes. We have also completed the 'Good to Go' accreditation.

Toilets

  • For 2021 each pitch will have it's very own composting toilet. On arrival you will be shown how to use it and inside you will have various cleaning materials. Your toilet will be deep cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure. We will not enter your toilet during your stay for your safety and ours.

Showers​

  • Government roadmap stage one and two state no shared facilities. During this time you will have a shower tent and shower bag with pressure pump on your pitch for your private use.

  • Once the government have cleared the use of shared facilities you will be able to use our normal showers again. If you are concerned about shared facilities and would rather have your own, you have the option to hire the shower tent and pump for £10 per stay.

  • We have two showers on site which are allocated to certain pitches so that you are not sharing with the whole campsite. Showers are equipped with approved coronavirus cleaning products. We ask that you spray down all surfaces and handles before and after use and leave the doors open. Showers are cleaned throughout the day and monitored.

Check - in

  • Your arrival time needs to be booked in advance to allow for one pitch to arrive at a time and enable social distancing while unpacking cars and getting yourselves organised.  We meet and greet all guests and show you to your pitch. Social distancing must be maintained to protect you and our team.

Luggage carts​

  • We have 4 luggage carts to transport your luggage in. Hand sanitiser is available for you to use before and after use and located at the cart station.

Keeping your distance​

  • All of our facilities are outside so keeping your distance is very easy to do. Please maintain a 2m distance with others during your stay.

Wash up sink

  • We have one wash up sink which is cleaned throughout the day. You are required to spray this down before and after use with the cleaning products provided. No personal hygiene / cleaning teeth is permitted at this sink.

Sanitising stations  

  • In various locations around the campsite we have provided sanitising stations with 80% proof alcohol gel. ​
