Our eco campsite is located within 9 acres of wild flower meadow and a small working lavender farm. We have two glamping Lotus Belle tents here at Finchingfield Camping; Lavender and Honeysuckle pitches.

Pitch Locations

Lavender glamping pitch is nestled into the hillside (we are in Essex, so when I say hill...... possibly more of a mild slope!) right on the edge of the lavender field with views of the rounded purple rows. As you relax in front of the fire pit of an evening you have views of the wheat fields beyond the campsite and the sunset.

Honeysuckle glamping pitch is in sight of the lavender field and surrounded by the wild flower meadow which at the start of the summer is full of Oxeye Daisies and purple and yellow wildflowers which grow up to 60cm tall around the pitch. The view beyond is framed by trees on the edge of the campsite, wheat fields and an uninterrupted view of the sunset.

The Tent & what's in it?

Our two glorious 6m Lotus Belle tents have stargazing panels in the ceiling for a perfect view of the stars at night. These panels come with blackout curtains for that snug feeling during the summer months when the sun rises early.  Lotus belle tents are a mix between the traditional wartime bell tent and a Mongolian yurt, providing much more headroom than a bell tent, as you can see from the scaled diagram in the photos below. 

Each tent is beautifully styled and fully furnished.
